     I grew up in a big, bustling family in Foxboro, Massachusetts, and one of my most cherished memories is spending hours in the kitchen with my Gramma, Davis/Jarvis.  She was an absolute wizard when it came to baking – from pastries to cakes, cookies, candies... the list goes on and on. I was lucky enough to witness her create these sweet masterpieces, but sadly, she passed when I was only 11 or 12.  I often think about how much I would have loved to learn her craft directly from her.  

When Gramma passed, there were 12 of us grandchildren, and she made sure to create a special birthday cake for each of us every year.  These weren't your ordinary cakes – Gramma was an artist in her own right.  I can still picture the teddy bear-shaped cake she made for my sister Darcie, intricately decorated with icing.  And then there was the unforgettable Donny & Marie cake she made for me, complete with a stage and full-sized Barbie dolls.  It was magic on a plate.  

Even though Gramma has been gone for years, I still feel her presence around me, especially when I’m in the kitchen, tending to the garden, or sitting in church.  It’s like she’s still guiding me, and I know she’s right there with me.

Beck's Bites was born in 2019, right in our cozy kitchen in Warwick, Rhode Island.  

Our mission is simple: to help people feel better, sleep better, and share that joy with others.  Every item we make is fresh and made-to-order – no shortcuts here.  We use organic ingredients whenever possible, and we always offer gluten-free options upon request.  Because at Beck's Bites, it’s all about creating something that brings comfort, warmth, and a little bit of happiness into every bite.
